Hotel Baviera has 3 types of family rooms to suit different needs.

  • Family Standard

    The first type of family room consists of a single bed at the entrance of the room and a large triple room with an outdoor balcony. The bathroom is at the center of the two rooms with separate entrance from both.

  • Family Room

    The second type of family room/apartment has two double bedrooms (one double and one with two separate beds). 

    Some rooms have a comfortable terrace.

  • Large families

    Finally we have the room for large families made up of two separate bedrooms, the first with two beds, and the second is a triple room.

    In some rooms there is also a terrace.

POSITION

Hotel Baviera is very convenient for reaching the seaside and for exploring the surrounding areas, especially on foot or by bicycle.

The Hotel, in fact, is located just 100 metres away from downtown Sottomarina and 1.8 km from Chioggia's historic centre (15 minutes by foot, 6 by bicycle), where the tour of the typical bacari (local bars) has become a trendy thing to do.

The affiliated beach is only 250 metres away (4 minutes by foot, 3 by bicycle).


Our staff is available to organise daily outings to discover the natural, cultural and artistic heritage of the area.

Venice is the most popular destination and can be reached by motorboat as well. From Sottomarina it will take you to the Serenissima along a picturesque tour of the lagoon.


The island of Pellestrina, the Delta Park and the Palladian Villas are also among the most popular destinations of the area.

  • How to reach the hotel by car

    From the A4 highway (Milano - Venezia) or A13 from Bologna, take the exit "Padova Industrial Zone (Interporto)" and follow the directions for Chioggia. Once across the bridge of the lagoon and come to Sottomarina, continue along the Adriatic street Promenade in the direction of the dam. Arrived roughly at nr 20, turn left onto Piemonte Avenue and then turn on the right. Continue on Viale Trieste for 100 mt up to the civic nr 5.

  • How to reach the hotel by bus

    From Venice-Mestre and Padua, Bus runs every half an hour with destination Sottomarina. Get off at the last stop (the station is located in Piazza Europa) walk 5 minutes to Viale Verona until you reach the square “Piazzale Italia”, then take Viale Trieste and continue straight on for 700 meters.

  • How to reach the hotel by train

    The railway station is located in Chioggia. There is the possibility to take the bus nr 1 (every 20 minutes in front of the station) or to make a beautiful half-hour walk through the historic center of Chioggia and then turn to the Church “San Giacomo”, following the two bridges linking the island of Chioggia to Sottomarina beach, and from there you'll end up in the square “Piazzale Italia” and then continue in Viale Trieste.
